Company Description

American Flora is a women’s accessory and apparel brand, selling purses and scarves, as well as select dresses and other apparel items.

American Flora donates one dollar from every item sold to the Partnership for Breast Care at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. The company also prides itself on its commitment to sustainability: many products are made using Repreve, a fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

Mary Brewster founded American Flora after a life-long love of dance and art brought her back to ballet as an adult. Brewster’s dance practice inspired her to create comfortable, sustainable pieces that looked and felt feminine. American Flora’s packaging is recognizable by its brass tag, which the company touts as reusable in a myriad of ways. All American Flora items are made in the United States.
