Company Description

Davey Handmade sells bags, hats, letterpress cards, and other accessories.

As a member of 1% For The Planet, they donate a percentage of every sale to environmental nonprofits. On top of this commitment, the company donates 9% of their net profits to nonprofit arts and education programs in the founder’s native Pacific Northwest. Their materials are responsibly sourced, using recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and Fair Trade merino wool from Manos del Uruguay, a nonprofit committed to developing economic opportunities for women in Uruguay.

All of their products are handmade in Seattle, Washington by the company’s founder, Bri Davey. She uses old-fashioned, traditional techniques and tools, including a 1940’s sewing machine and an antique letterpress. Davey loves the natural splendor of the Pacific Northwest — she has incorporated the mountains into her logo and names her products after hikes in the region.
