Company Description

Endangered Species Chocolate creates high-quality chocolate bars, barks and bites, ranging from traditional nuts and caramel flavors to more adventurous ones, such as cinnamon-cayenne-cherry.

Endangered Species donates 10% of net profits to its current wildlife conservation focused GiveBack Partners, which include Rainforest Trust, Wildlife Conservation Network, and SEEtheWILD. Each partner is guaranteed a minimum annual donation of $10,000 and is free to use the funds as it sees fit. The company has generated more than $1.3 million in the past three years alone and is the first American-made chocolate company to use fully traceable Fair Trade coacoa beans from West Africa.

The company’s blog spotlights the ways in which various partner organizations are helping animals across the globe. In addition to its traditional bars and bites, Endangered Species released a chocolate spread in 2015. All products are certified FairTrade, vegan, gluten free, Kosher, RPSO certified, and non-GMO.
