"Do the kind thing for your body, your taste buds, and your world."kindsnacks.com/
KIND Snacks makes granola bars and other snacks.
The KIND Snacks mission is to make snacks for your body, taste buds, and world — and, beyond that, is focused on the belief that kindness can change the world. A self-described “not-only-for-profit” company, they founded the nonprofit KIND Foundation to carry on their work of inspiring and celebrating kindness by fostering healthy and empathetic communities. The Foundation carries out work on a number of projects, from their KIND People program (which awarded over a million dollars to seven individuals transforming their world through kindness) to the KIND Schools Challenge (which empowers middle- and high-school students to build kinder, more inclusive communities). In 2017 alone, their KIND Causes campaign donated $450,000 to fuel impactful ideas that aided 200,000 children and over 500 families.
Founder and CEO Daniel Lubetzky is on a mission to build bridges between people, and was named a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship by President Barack Obama and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker. The company is trying to build a “KIND Movement”; for the brand, that means being honest, speaking up, and solving a problem — being kind is being active. The KIND Snacks website includes daily “kind” tips, and an Ingredients A-Z list that details all of the whole foods that goes into their snacks — no artificial flavors, preservatives, or sweeteners.
