Company Description

Patagonia is an outdoor apparel and gear brand with an online presence and dozens of brick and mortar stores across the country.

Patagonia is vocal about its impact on the environment and works to reverse it by using recycled polyester and organic cotton in its products. The company also donates 1% of sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups worldwide.

Patagonia has been active in political discussions surrounding climate change. In 2017, after the US government announced its decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord, Patagonia posted an open letter to the international community pledging to continue to support climate action to meet the Paris Agreement’s goals.
