Company Description

Seeds of Change sells a variety of grains and sauces, as well as flower and vegetable seeds.

The company was founded in 1989 and they got their start selling Certified Organic, non-GMO, U.S. grown seeds to gardeners and farmers. The company dedicates 1% of their profits to a grant that goes towards helping people — often those living in food deserts — grow their own food in community gardens and farms. Many of the grant recipients often donate what they grow to local food pantries, creating a sustainable food system founded on community. To date, they have donated $1,000,000 dollars and helped grow over 90 tons of food.

Seeds of Change is dedicated to preserving heirloom seed varieties in danger of being lost on the industrial agriculture scene, and have signed the Safe Seed Pledge from the Council for Responsible Genetics. In 1997 they expanded from to food, to further the organic cause and bring delicious food to people everywhere, sourcing organically grown and eco-friendly ingredients.
