“26 Shirts is not a t-shirt company...26 Shirts is a movement.”26shirts.com
26 Shirts creates sports-themed t-shirts that give back to the community.
With new, limited-edition designs released every two weeks, each t-shirt sold results in a donation to a charitable organization or family in need. The effort is “100% crowdsourced,” meaning ideas for campaigns, designs for shirts, and sales are all derived from fans and followers — they pay contributing artists $1 from the sale of every item they’ve designed.
26 Shirts was founded in 2013 as a year-long, community-focused service project in Buffalo, NY, and has grown into a thriving online business in four major cities. As of October 2017, 26 Shirts had raised over $400,000, contributing to causes and individuals nationwide.
Additionally, with their stores in Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and online sales, 26 Shirts hopes to expand the movement and apply their unique model of giving to communities in Seattle, Washington, DC, New York City, and more.
