Late July Snacks CEO and co-founder Nicole Bernard Dawes grew up around snack foods. She helped out at her mother’s natural foods store throughout her childhood in the 1970s, and worked as head of marketing at her father’s potato chip company, Cape Cod Potato Chips in the late 1990s. It was during her pregnancy with her first child that she was inspired to create Late July after noticing that organic produce was readily available, but organic snacks were not. The company’s products now appear on grocery shelves across the U.S.
